Sarah is the Senior Manager – Diversity, Leadership and Inclusion at the University of Sydney which she has held since August 2017. Sarah leads the HR Diversity and Inclusion team covering the portfolio of gender, race, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander People disability, the LGBTI community, parents and carers and flexibility in relation to University Staff.
Prior to this, Sarah was the Senior Diversity and Inclusion Manager for the Commonwealth Bank. In this role Sarah covered the portfolio of gender, accessibility, flexibility, age and inclusion. This included leading CBA’s renewed approach to flexibility with the roll out of the “I Can Flex” campaign across the Bank; redefining CBA’s approach to flexible work arrangements. In 2016 Sarah was awarded the CEO Annual Service Award for HR which is the highest form of recognition achievable at CBA within a business unit.
Prior to commencing work at the Commonwealth Bank Sarah worked across multiple roles at Microsoft in Diversity and HR at both their headquarters in the USA and in Australia.
Sarah holds a Masters in Commerce, Masters in Adult Education and a Bachelor of Business. She is an avid bee keeper, chicken owner and mother of two teenagers.
